The Mignery Sculpture Garden is a true hidden gem in Nebraska
The tiny village of Bartlett in Wheeler County is home to around 115 people and a world-class sculpture garden. You’d never know the outdoor art exhibit was there if you weren’t looking for it, but once you find it, you’ll wish you had heard of this hidden gem sooner.
In these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list at a later date.
Don’t be surprised if during your visit a friendly local man approaches you to give you more information about the statues. It will be Bob Nichols, a longtime friend of Mignery and caretaker of this very special place. If you’re lucky, you might get a private guided tour of the exhibit! The Mignery Sculpture Garden is free to visit and open all year round.
