Studio Proba NFTs supports free art lessons
After his winning sculpture installation Tomorrow Earth debuted at this year’s Art Basel Miami, Studio Proba partnered with curators Anava Projects to create and sell two NFTs to support ProjectART, an organization dedicated to supporting and enriching the lives of artists underserved and K-12 students.
Inspired by the immersive physical and virtual playground designed in collaboration with Enjoy The Weather, the vividly saturated work will be transformed into digital art.
âWorking physically and virtually at the same time – and on a new scale – is very exciting, and NFTs were a logical next step. However, in all media, the goal of Tomorrow Earth is constantly to inspire and connect. Access to the arts has been an integral part of my personal and professional development, so I can’t think of a better partner than ProjectART – an organization dedicated to nurturing the next generation of creatives – to collaborate with, âsaid Alex Proba, Founder from the Portland-based Studio.
Previewed on the NFT OpenSea platform, the sale of Studio Proba’s digital works will benefit the national arts education association, enabling ProjectArts to accept Ethereum’s crucial contributions and continue to offer free art lessons for children in American libraries.
In addition, part of the proceeds from the sale of Studio Proba’s virtual works will be donated to plant forests rich in biodiversity in Panama in order to counter the environmental impact of the work of art.
“Studio Proba’s Tomorrow Earth NFTs are not only unique collectible works of art, they also provide a platform to support important organizations such as ProjectArt. Tomorrow Earth harnesses the power of design to spread a little joy and a sense of community at a time when it is so urgent, âadds Anava Projects curators Wava Carpenter and Anna Carnick.
Studio Proba’s Tomorrow Earth The NFT fundraiser is open today through December 19 on the OpenSea website.
