It will take place on the black course of the Tiburon Golf Club located at 2620 Tiburon Drive in Naples. All proceeds from this year’s tournament will benefit the Lee County Red Sox Scholarship Program. Each year, the Red Sox Foundation awards a $5,000 college scholarship to one deserving student from each of the Lee County public high schools and one student from a Lee County charter and advanced learning school for a total of 15 scholarships worth $75,000.
To date, Swings for the Sox has raised over $497,000 for local charities and specifically $437,175 for the scholarship program.
This year’s title sponsor is ReRoute Americas, a manufacturing, sales and distribution company that aims to change the game on what and where some of the things you buy are made. Other sponsors include Aramark, Galloway Family of Dealerships, Lee Health, Jaguar Land Rover of Fort Myers and National Car Rental. ¦
