The UPSC preliminaries will consist of two mandatory 200-point events. Both exam papers will be objective in nature (multiple-choice questions) and will last two hours each. The minimum qualifying marks in the General Studies II paper of the Civil Service Examination (Preliminary) will be set at 33%. Additionally, the exam will be administered in Hindi and English.
