First National Bank Sponsors Maine Art Gallery Outdoor Event
Monique McRae, director of the Wiscasset branch of First National Bank, and Ann Clifford, branch supervisor, made a generous donation to the Maine Art Gallery on April 9 in a meeting with several board members from the gallery. The $ 500 contribution helps sponsor the Paint the Town and Plein Air Show – July 21-25 – when artists set up their easels around Wiscasset to document local landscapes. A reception will be held on the evening of July 24 at the gallery when the work goes on sale.
McRae said First National is excited to be a part of the upcoming show showcasing the creativity and talent of area residents. Board Chair Wendy Ross Eichler expressed the Board’s gratitude for this donation.
