CNC Robotics sets open house date of 2022
Building on the success of its previous Open House series in 2019, CNC Robotics will kick off the summer season by opening the doors of its new factory to the manufacturing and engineering community on the 15thand June 2022.
The company’s new factory is located in Mersey Reach, Liverpool and has been home to the advanced machining applications specialist since the summer of 2021. The upcoming open day will aim to inspire, educate and connect the manufacturing fraternity.
The event will include a robotic machining demonstration by the company’s artist-in-residence, Liz Wilson, who will work with the company’s automation engineers on the day of machining a sculpture that was part of her installation for Art in Manufacturing – a collaboration between the National Festival of Making and Super Slow which associates artists and makers with manufacturers.
The open day will include CNC Robotics partner Finance for Industry, which offers a range of innovative financing options for SMEs. Supported by Close Brothers, Finance for Industry will host SME clinics on the day. Other guest exhibitors will be Blowfish IT, Cadline, Hiteco, KUKA, Make UK, Schunk, Royal Academy of Engineering, University of Liverpool Business School, 3DGBIRE and more.
Philippa Glover, Managing Director of CNC Robotics, enthused: “We are thrilled to be hosting our first open house in over three years, giving the manufacturing and engineering community the chance to see what we do and meet like-minded people.
“Open houses provide a fantastic platform for SMBs like CNC Robotics to break down barriers and make new technologies more accessible by allowing manufacturers to talk first-hand to the people who design and build the systems.”
Topics for the day will include robotics and automation, additive manufacturing, cyber resilience, skills and talent development, UK manufacturing outlook and support options for manufacturers.
